A
Microsoft Windows Security Update may be available soon for a reported Windows
7 security vulnerability.
The reported vulnerability appears to be applicable to Windows 7 x64,
Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 and Windows Server 2008 R2 for Itanium systems.
Whilst Microsoft is preparing a Windows 7 Security Update for this
vulnerability, users should exercise caution and report any suspected attacks to
Microsoft.
Windows 7 users should keep track with Microsoft
regarding the availability of this security update.
Windows 7, released in 2009, contained many additional functions over it's
predecessor Windows based operating systems.
It included additional Windows 7 security function:
- Better malware prevention.
- More flexible firewall settings.
- Parental controls.
- and more.
All Windows users should be mindful to keep their systems up to date with
Microsoft as updates are released.
Windows security updates are of even more important as users
should update as soon as Microsoft released such updates.
Keeping Windows updated is extremely important as the Operating System arguably
the most important software running on PCs.
