SUMMARY
ParetoLogic - Spam Controls is primarily an EMail filter and
scanner to limit SPAM, unwanted EMails and more dangerous EMails
such as phishing messages.
It can be used stand alone, or in conjunction with:

FEATURES
Overview: Spam
Controls uses a complex method to detect SPAM EMails.
This may result in a high number of EMails being flagged as
SPAM and it is up to users as to their own preference in this
regard.
Spammers are getting more sophisticated in their methods to
avoid being labelled as SPAM and for this reason SPAM filters need
to evolve.
Whilst high detection rates are great, they must be balanced
against over detection where too many false positives (ie: valid
messages being flagged) occur.
The software not only checks the text and html of the messages,
it also checks the images.
Some would say SPAM is just annoying. However Spam
Controls also tries to detect the more dangerous phishing
messages.
This is to try protect the user from many things, most notably
Identify theft.

This product can act as a filter (in real time) as you access
you EMail. It can also be used to perform a SPAM
scan.

Rate: Spam Controls
seems to detect a lot of SPAM EMails. Some may find
this level too high however it is probably better to be
cautious.
